St Vincent de Paul Society is a lay Catholic organisation that aspires to live the Gospel message by serving Christ in the poor with Love, Respect, Justice, Hope and Joy and by working to shape a more just and Compassionate society.

Inspired by the compassion of Jesus Christ, our Mission is lived in the way we work with the poor and disadvantaged – irrespective of race, colour, creed or status.

our aim

Our aim is not only to provide immediate support, but to enable those we assist to break free from the cycle of poverty. Our desire is to empower and enable – a hand up and not a hand-out.

St Jude’s Conference is located in Vredenburg on the West Coast of South Africa. We started our conference in 2010, with four (4) members and has grown to twenty (20) members in 2015.
